JOB CIRCULAR

Position: Electrical Engineer
Company: Geotech & Structures Limited
Salary: BDT 80,000/month (Negotiable)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare, review & supervise electrical designs for building and infrastructure projects.
• Design/review HT/LT, power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, generator, transformer & substation systems.
• Prepare/review SLD, load schedules, cable schedules, panel schedules & electrical layouts.
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations & breaker selection.
• Review shop drawings, BOQ, specifications, material submittals & method statements.
• Supervise electrical installation, inspection, testing & commissioning at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with BNBC, relevant standards, utility requirements & electrical codes.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and MEP/structural/architectural teams.
• Monitor quality, progress, safety, cost & schedule of electrical works.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.

REQUIREMENTS
• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in building construction, consultancy, electrical design or project management will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing & commissioning.
• Practical knowledge of AutoCAD, BOQ, cost estimation and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to visit and supervise project sites when required.
